Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO)
What is the Parent Teacher Staff Organization?
The Caleb Greenwood Parent Teacher Staff Organization is a collaborative of parents, teachers and administrators. We provide a communication link between the parents and staff at the school and work to fund enrichment programs for students.

Welcome!
If you plan to volunteer in your child’s classroom, in the office, for PTSO events, or as a chaperone for field trips you must complete the required volunteer paperwork listed below:

1st time volunteer requirements

Fill out/sign all pages of the current volunteer packet (link at bottom of page).

If you have fingerprints taken at a Live Scan location rather than the Serna Center you do not need the principal’s signature on page 9, you just need to bring the Request for Live Scan Service page (page 7).

Field Trip Driver Clearance – If you want to obtain clearance, please fill out/sign pages 11 & 12 of volunteer packet.

Attach a copy of your driver’s license and vehicle insurance declaration.

If you do not wish to obtain driver clearance, you do not need to fill out or submit pages 11 & 12.

Current TB test results (valid for 4 years).

Copy of COVID vaccination card or acknowledgement that you agree to be tested on campus prior to volunteering.

Complete the following Volunteer Mandated Reporter Training and print the certificate you will receive at the end of the training. This must be updated every 2 years.

Returning volunteer requirements

Fill out/sign pages of the current volunteer packet (link at top of page).

Fill out/sign driving forms if you intend to drive for field trips, along with a copy of your driver’s license and vehicle insurance declaration.

Confirm with the office that your previous TB results are still valid (results expire every 4 years).

Complete the following Volunteer Mandated Reporter Training and print the certificate you will receive at the end of the training. This must be updated every 2 years.

Please print out and submit completed volunteer forms, along with copies of all the required documents at the front office. Once they have been processed, you will be contacted about approval.

School Supply Wishlist
2024-2025 Recommended Supply List
The following school supplies are requested items that each family should supply on the first day of school. We ask parents to provide these supplies due to our limited budget, but we understand that some of these items may be difficult for families to purchase. It is not a requirement that you purchase them. We will use site funding to ensure that every child has what they need to learn each day, and we appreciate any and all contributions you make to our school.
Passive Fundraising Opportunities
Here are a handful of ways you can raise funds for our school while going about your daily activities. All that is required of you is to register with participating companies and then spend as you normally would. The companies give a percentage of your spending back to Caleb Greenwood. It’s that simple and it works!
Please participate. Encourage friends and family to participate. By the end of the year, each family will have contributed a few hundred dollars without giving up any extra time or money!
Did you know that many employers sponsor matching gift programs and may match your donations to the Caleb Greenwood PTSO. Some companies even award money to our organization for your volunteer hours! All donations to the Caleb Greenwood PTSO help to support our students and school and you may be able to double the impact of your gift.
To check if your company will match your donation:=
Step 1 – Check with HR to see if the company has a matching gift program.
Step 2 – Submit for the matching gift following program rules (be aware of submission deadline or limits)
